Individual or Group Tutoring

I am available to work with students virtually on a one to one basis or in a group. You can expect my Latin and classical studies tutoring to provide a personalized educational experience designed to help students improve their understanding and mastery of the Latin language and the classical world.

The tutoring sessions are 50 minutes in length and are tailored to the needs and learning style of the student, and can cover a wide range of topics, including Latin grammar and syntax, reading and translating Latin texts, and exploring the rich cultural and historical context of the classical world. As I am well versed in different Latin texts, I will be able to assist students who need help reinforcing skills and concepts learned in the classroom or those who are looking to begin the study of Latin outside of a school setting.

Summer Sessions

Are you looking for something unique for your child to do this summer? Why not learn about Latin and the ancient Romans? The virtual summer sessions will be an exciting educational program designed for beginner students who have an interest in the Latin language and the classical world. These virtual summer sessions will be offered in one week increments for 75 minutes a day throughout the summer. Each session will have no more than 8 students per class, and will be separated by age.

During the summer camp, students will have the opportunity to explore the rich history and culture of the ancient world through a variety of activities and projects. These may include reading and translating Latin texts, learning about the mythology and literature of the classical world, and participating in hands-on projects such as creating Roman mythology comic book, making Roman mosaics, trying ancient Roman cuisine, trying on Roman clothes and creating Roman landmarks with Legos.

Composition Course

I am available to tutor in virtual, one-to-one or group sessions. The tutoring sessions are 50 minutes a session. During these sessions students will embark on an exciting journey to develop and enhance their writing skills, empowering them to become confident, articulate, and expressive communicators. Through engaging lessons, interactive activities, and meaningful writing exercises, students will explore various forms of composition, including narrative, expository, persuasive, and descriptive writing.

Students will learn and apply fundamental writing techniques, such as brainstorming, outlining, drafting, revising, and editing, to create well-structured and polished compositions. They will gain a deep understanding of the writing process and develop strategies for effective self-expression. Emphasis will be placed on developing a strong command of grammar, punctuation, vocabulary, and sentence structure, enabling students to convey their ideas clearly and coherently.
